At Towne Mortgage Company, we are passionate about supporting our communities. Our employee-driven, company-backed volunteer efforts take a hands-on approach to growing and enriching local communities.
Towne Mortgage provides financial assistance to families with chronically or critically ill or injured children through our Mortgage/Rental Assistance Program.
Applications are received from various participating hospitals throughout the communities we serve. The program provides interim monthly payment assistance to parents/guardians of critically ill or injured children, allowing them to spend precious time with their child. This small measure of relief helps parents/guardians who are struggling to cope with both the emotional and financial difficulties that come with caring for a critically ill or injured child.

Towne Mortgage Company participates in Cornerstone School’s Partner Program. This innovative approach pairs a deserving student with a partner to aid in the funding of their education. Additionally, partners serve as mentors, providing valuable insight on how to be successful as a student and beyond. Each partner partakes in four Partner Morning events per school year, allowing them to establish a meaningful relationship and play an active role in their mentees education.

The Methodist Children’s Home Society strives to meet the needs of neglected and abused children by providing housing, educational, clinical and therapeutic services. Through their efforts, Michigan’s most fragile children are introduced to a loving, comfortable and safe environment. They encourage children to reach their full potential by providing them with the resources they need to succeed. Visit http://www.mchsmi.org to learn more.
Our employees have taken part in an array of company-sponsored volunteer opportunities with the Methodist Children’s Home Society in 2016, including a Towne Sponsored Detroit Tigers Outing, a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Event, a Holiday Celebration Party and Secret Santa Grant-A-Wish Program.
While many of these children are happy just to receive basic necessities, we believe providing them with every opportunity to enjoy their childhood is equally valuable. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders; here at Towne, we hope to inspire these children to reach their full potential through our efforts.
